Hi, I am Joedy Putnal. I had a career in the Insurance Business prior to starting Busy Elves Christmas Tree Farm. I enjoyed working with people and wanted something that would allow me to continue working with people after I retired from the insurance business.

My most pleasing childhood memory concerning Christmas was finding that "just right" Christmas tree. My father gave all the children and hired help on our farm a day off to find the tree. So, we got on a wagon and went up and down our land along the Suwanee River in Lafayette County (in Florida) looking for the perfect Cedar tree to use as a Christmas tree. It was an all day, memorable affair!
